ACADEMY OVERVIEW

The aim of the Henley Sports Academy is to assist student athletes in their sporting and academic pathway. Students have two 80 minute and one 50 minute lessons per week over the whole year.  The Football Academy caters for both male and female students with a focus for each term includes:

 

Term 1

  • Theory Focus: Fitness Analysis, Individual Goal Setting, Nutrition
  • Practical Focus: Strength and Conditioning, Game Sense, Fundamentals

Term 2

  • Theory Focus: Technique Analysis, Gwoing with Gratitude
  • Practical Focus : Competitive preparation

Term 3

  • Theory Focus: Coaching Experience
  • Practical Focus: Competition preparation

Term 4

  • Theory Focus: Game Analysis
  • Practical Focus: Specific Individual Development
