Sam Elliott
Researcher in Sport Psychology, Coaching & Youth Sport
Developing Resilient Athletes
Resilience is a key factor in navigating the challenges that athletes inevitably face. This presentation draws on empirical research to equip parents and athletes with the requisite knowledge to strengthen mental toughness and coping mechanisms needed to bounce back from setbacks, highlighting the psychological tools that can be ‘hacked’ to develop resilience.

Brett Burton
Leadership & Wellbeing Facilitator and High-Performance Coach
Brett was a former AFL player and after retiring spent 10 years in key leadership positions across the AFL, including High Performance Manager and Head of Football. He is a dedicated father of five, who has a passion for people development and leading with and optimistic mindset. Brett will present to us on the key aspects to developing a high-performance mindset for sport and life.
