Homestays needed for the Kofu Daiichi International Study Tour
Back to NewsA group of students from our sister school Kofu Daiichi High School in Japan will be joining us at Henley High School from 8 to 14 March 2024. The 20th anniversary of our International Study Tour program with Kofu Daiichi, we are excited to welcome these students to our country and our school, where we will give them an introduction to the Australian way of life.
Can you help? Homestays needed!
Due to the growth and diversity of our International Program, we are constantly looking for families to host students in their homes. We depend on the warm hospitality of our local community.
We need families for approximately 20 students for this upcoming study tour (double homestays placements are possible). If you are willing to host students, where you will receive approximately $320 per week, we want to hear from you!
As a local family hosting an international student, you will have the chance to:
- Learn about and share cultures, customs and traditions
- Make lifelong friendships with your student and their family
- Participate in activities and meet other host families
- Explore fun things to see and do in South Australia.
Plus, being just a 7-day Study Tour makes it the perfect way to experience being a homestay family before considering longer-term placements for our Study Abroad and Graduate Program students.
